Handle medical billing and collections processes.
Utilize MS Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
Maintain a strong understanding of medical terminology, ICD10, and various healthcare files.
Work with payer websites for claim status and verification.

Required
High School Diploma or GED required
2–3-years in healthcare billing (Behavioral Health/Addictions) experience
Experience in medical billing, collections and MS Office Suite (Excel and Word)
Proficient in computer software and technology
Strong understanding of medical terminology, ICD10, 837I/837P, 277 Rejection Reports, 270/271 Eligibility files, 999/TA1 files
Strong knowledge of Payer websites for claim status and verification
Strong knowledge with payer Community Behavioral Health and Pennsylvania Medicaid
