High School Diploma or GED required
2–3-years in healthcare billing (Behavioral Health/Addictions) experience
Experience in medical billing, collections and MS Office Suite (Excel and Word)

Strong understanding of medical terminology, ICD10, 837I/837P, 277 Rejection Reports, 270/271 Eligibility files, 999/TA1 files
Strong knowledge of Payer websites for claim status and verification
Strong knowledge with payer Community Behavioral Health and Pennsylvania Medicaid
Focus and attention to detail
