Responsibilities
Carries out billing, collection, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines
Processes customer payments and maintains comprehensive files of payments received
Performs routine calculations
Researches and resolves payment discrepancies
Monitors customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities
Investigates and resolves customer inquiries
Processes, adjusts, and reconciles customer accounts as needed
Maintains Accounts Receivable files
Prepares, audits, and distributes monthly reports
Communicates with internal and external customers via phone, email, or mail

Required

Maintain a working knowledge of accounting practices and regulations
Ability to communicate with internal and external customers in an articulate, professional manner, while maintaining the necessary degree of confidentiality
Detailed oriented and able to prioritize tasks, adapt to change, and meet deadlines in a timely manner
Must have a positive attitude with emphasis on teamwork
Ability to anticipate and react in a dynamic business environment
Ability to comprehend and execute instructions and information with accuracy
Associates Degree and 2-5 years of experience in the field or related area
Experience with Microsoft Office a must
Preferred
Three years of experience in Accounts Receivable and billing preferred
Salesforce, FinancialForce, and QuickBooks knowledge a plus
