Responsibilities
Assist in identifying sites for purchase (off-market and listed)
Perform land use and legislation analysis
Assist in Due Diligence process in examination of contracts, proforma reviews and capital raising.
Operate complex financial models and perform accurate underwriting
Assisting with the creation of Offering Memorandums
Research potential sellers and establish lines of communication in order to acquire sites
Assist in creating Comp Matrices and collecting essential market data for active deals
Assist in collecting new BTR sale and re-sale data to determine exit strategies for active projects
Development opportunity mapping, ranking, and competitive market analysis
Assist in title examination and applicable exceptions for properties under contract

Required
Current graduate enrolled status in real estate, finance, business or related field (MRED, MSRE, MRE preferred). Commercial real estate experience and understanding is essential.
The candidate should be highly proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, and have excellent analytical and communication skills.
Well-developed social and cooperation skills.
Intermediate level financial underwriting in Excel
Exceptional follow-through and organizational skills are required.
Highly meticulous and detail-oriented.
Valid Driver’s License because driving is an essential function of this position.
Ability to travel occasionally for market research, property inspections, conferences and corporate meetings.
Must feel comfortable and able to thrive in a non-orthodox work environment, with genuine dedication, creativity and ingenuity.
