Responsibilities

Use Pathology software applications for sending, retrieving, and tracking Pathology material for internal and external slides and blocks.

Prepare pathology material for send-out and document materials and inquiries/requests.

Perform registration and order entry functions.

Develop and maintain records using spreadsheet, word processing, and database software.

Provide support for the leadership team formatting correspondence and documents; maintaining calendars; scheduling meetings; answering telephones; preparing reports and presentation materials; processing reimbursement for travel and other professional expenses; and maintaining electronic files and records.

Handle sensitive and confidential information for physicians, Director, and staff.

Office ExperienceSecretarial Experience

Required

High school graduate with equivalent combination of experience and education in computer data entry/retrieval and medical terminology

Minimum of two years of office/secretarial experience
