Responsibilities

Process a large volume of invoices while paying close attention to the entity and department.

Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.

Prioritize invoices as necessary specifically related to cash discount potential and payment terms.

Reconcile vendor statements, research, and correct discrepancies.

Respond to vendor inquiries.

Assist Accounting personnel with month end tasks including upload of various journal entries and consolidated invoices.

Front desk tasks such as scanning, mail, etc.

Other various Accounting related projects as requested.

Required

Requires 2 plus years of Accounts Payable experience.

Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook, Sage/MAS a plus.

Organizational, verbal, and written communication skills a must

Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines as required.
