Responsibilities

Prepare, submit, and follow up on credentialing applications with insurance companies, healthcare organizations, and licensing boards.
Maintain up-to-date records of provider licenses, certifications, and other necessary documentation.
Monitor renewal dates and ensure timely submission of updates or recredentialing requirements.
Process and submit claims accurately to insurance companies or payers.
Verify patient insurance coverage and assist with pre-authorizations as needed.
Address billing inquiries from clients or providers and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Generate reports on billing performance and outstanding claims.
Manage email correspondence and organize files related to credentialing, billing, and office operations.
Schedule and coordinate meetings or appointments for the team.
Assist with document preparation, data entry, and general office management tasks.
Handle other ad hoc administrative duties as assigned.
Manage and maintain calendars, scheduling appointments and meetings for team members.
Provide exceptional customer support via phone systems and in-person interactions.
Assist with clerical duties including data entry and document preparation.
Prepare reports and presentations as required by management.
Facilitate communication between clients to enhance workflow efficiency.

Required

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide outstanding customer service
Familiarity with phone systems and basic office equipment
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or equivalent software applications
Ability to work independently while being part of a team-oriented environment
Customer service: 3 years

Preferred

Proven experience in an office environment or as an Administrative Assistant
Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar healthcare setting
High school or equivalent
