Responsibilities
Answer emails, phone calls, and other inquiries from students, staff, faculty, alumni, and employers seeking information about services.
Schedule appointments and space on campus, maintain inventory of supplies and technology, process check and credit card payments, and perform other tasks to support daily operations.
Assist with administrative functions in key platforms, including Handshake and listserv maintenance.
Supervise projects for student Career Ambassadors, oversee front-desk Career Ambassadors, assist with training and performance reviews, and implement front-office policies and procedures.
Gather Career Ambassadors' work schedule, act as a backup for front desk activities, and assist with event-related tasks such as reserving space and working with facilities on event set-up.
Provide support for Career Center initiatives and events, including representing the Career Center at events.

Required
At least 2 years of directly related student support and/or customer service experience in an office setting.
Experience in handling administrative office functions.
Outstanding customer service skills and ability to problem solve in a professional office environment.
Strong supervisory skills and the ability to mentor and monitor the work of student staff.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams).
Experience with data entry and working in student or customer information platforms.
Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to maintain and respond to Career Center email professionally.
Strong administrative/clerical skills and ability to provide support to events.
Ability to interact with a diverse group of professionals, students, faculty, staff, and corporate visitors.
Proven organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree.
Experience using Kronos, Handshake, Banner, Concur, and Marketplace.
Experience working in a higher education or student services setting.
Knowledge of University policies and procedures.
