Responsibilities
Answering telephones
Greeting and directing visitors
Maintaining and scheduling appointment calendars
Handling various forms of mail (i.e. paper, email, overnight express, fax)
Ordering office supplies and furnishings
Arranging for equipment repairs
Maintaining filing systems and/or computerized record keeping systems and/or databases
Completing standardized forms
Handling all confidential correspondence and inter-department communications
Performing other duties, as assigned

Required
High school degree or GED, required
One-year experience in a general office setting OR completion of specialized training/certification in the administrative professional field, required
Previous experience and demonstrated competency in MS Office Suite applications
Strong oral and written interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, evolving work environment
Ability to deal with highly confidential information in a professional manner
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Preferred
Experience in healthcare/hospital setting, preferred
