Responsibilities
Support the Executive Office by carrying out assignments independently, serving as the lead for workshop/webinar planning, and providing administrative support in expert panel appointments.
Act as the point-of-contact in the absence of Executive Office members, draft correspondence, and conduct complex administrative actions such as contracting, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with entities within the California Environmental Protection Agency, private and external government agencies, and the public.

List Eligibility Is Established Through An Examination Process In Which One Must Apply And Successfully Pass The Examination For The Classification.
Ability to perform various administrative duties with a high degree of responsibility
Experience in workshop/webinar planning and organization
Experience in providing administrative support in expert panel appointments
Ability to draft correspondence and respond to inquiries
Experience in conducting complex administrative actions such as contracting, meeting coordination, travel, and hiring support
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with various entities
Experience in office management principles, methods, and practices
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential assignments with tact and diplomacy
Ability to work under pressure and time constraints
Ability to handle changing priorities
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
Preferred
Effective use of principles and methods of public and business administration
