Responsibilities

Provides administrative support for the unit and staff to enable the patient care team to focus on delivering superior patient care.

Answers phones, greets patients and visitors, and directs inquiries appropriately.

Processes physician orders, maintains accurate medical charts, and communicates with nursing staff for patient placement.

Coordinates tests, diagnostic services, ambulances, and medical equipment needs.

Completes administrative tasks such as data entry, letter typing, and inventory management.

Ensures compliance with health care organization requirements and protocols.
