Responsibilities

Relieve supervisor of various internal administrative duties
Review department policy manuals and update as necessary
Monitor and maintain unit's budget
Coordinate supervisor's schedule and travel arrangements
Coordinate faculty and staff recruitment
Pre-screen staff applicants and conduct interviews
Coordinate scheduling and use of department facilities
Prepare or coordinate preparation of complex reports
Provide professional support for special projects
Maintain sub-ledgers and ledgers for various accounts
Provide working supervision for staff of lower rank
Perform other duties as assigned
