Responsibilities
Delivers excellent customer service while also answering a large volume of calls per day.
Routes inquiries appropriately for more complex matters and interpretation issues, and transfers calls to more skilled technicians as needed.
Interprets County/departmental polices, rules, and regulations in response to inquiries.
Conducts research and runs standard reports as needed.
Accepts and processes plans, specifications, forms, reports, legal documents, applications, or similar materials in accordance with legal and procedural requirements.
Composes and prepares replies to a variety of communications when information is factual in nature or involves matters of established policies, procedures, or standard practices.
Enters data and maintains computer systems or databases; proofs data entry and corrects errors.

Required
Must be at least 18 years of age.
One (1) year of experience in a directly related field or in the performance of similar office administrative duties and responsibilities required for Administrative Specialist I.
One (1) year experience as an Administrative Specialist I or two (2) years of experience in a directly related field or in the performance of similar office administrative duties and responsibilities required for Administrative Specialist II.
Preferred
Bilingual English/Spanish skills.
