Responsibilities

Provides oversight and consultation on all HR functions of departments and centers.
Oversees Administrative Managers, including interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating staff.
Provides financial management oversight, including budget development, monitoring, and reconciliation.
Works collaboratively with departments to develop new policies and procedures for smooth operations.
Advises on business development goals and strategic planning for each department.

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or other related field.
Seven years (7) progressively responsible professional-level administrative and financial experience related to monetary or non-monetary resources of a department, center, or unit, including 2 years financial management experience (e.g., planning, directing, monitoring, organizing, and controlling monetary and non-monetary resources).

Preferred

Master's Degree in a related field may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
Supervisory experience.
Demonstrated significant experience with financial analysis, forecasting, and budget development.
Prior experience with Johns Hopkins University academic and business systems is desirable.
