Responsibilities
Implement, maintain, and enhance Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service (AEM) application, focusing on backend components and integrations.
Design and develop scalable, secure, high-performance solutions using AEM and related technologies such as Java, Apache Sling, OSGi (Apache Felix), and JCR (Jackrabbit Oak).
Create and manage custom AEM components and workflows for content management solutions tailored to business needs.
Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate APIs and web services.
Perform code reviews, ensuring best practices and adherence to industry standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AEM implementation and performance.
Assist in the migration and upgrading of AEM instances across versions.
Optimize application performance through profiling and tuning.
Document development processes, code changes, and other necessary technical information.
Participate in Agile development cycles and project planning.

Required
Proficient in Java and experience with the AEM Platform.
Knowledge of Apache Sling, OSGi, and Java Content Repository (JCR).
Understanding of RESTful web services and API integration.
Experience with version control systems, such as Git/Github.
Experience with Workflow scripting and ECMA script.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
2+ years of experience in backend development, preferably with AEM or other content management systems.
Proven track record of developing high-quality software solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred
Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure.
Previous work with CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
