Responsibilities

Explore and learn by probing our customers on what they are doing in their labs by using our instrumentation to help understand and have the ability to position our products based on our customers’ needs and upsell complimentary products.
Effectively manage all stages of the sales cycle and manage the customer experience by generating and negotiating quotes for aftermarket services and portfolio.
Work alongside our Sales and Service teams to build strong internal relationships which support team leads to help grow your opportunity funnel or identify needs and gaps to uncover sales opportunities.
Use process and tools to help drive your day to day workload.

Required

Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in Life Sciences or equivalent experience.
At least 1+ years’ experience in a Sales role.
Prior experience selling service, consumables and software agreements is a big plus.
Must have some science background, even if only academic.
Must be able to obtain a valid passport with Travel by vehicle or airplane within assigned geography, up to 10% overnight may be required.
Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Meeting Vendor Credentialing requirements are an essential element of this position (vaccination requirements such as Hepatitis B/C, or others as required by our vendors).

Preferred

An understanding of Life Science products and instruments.
Usage of SCIEX instrumentation and our applied markets.
CRM tool such as Salesforce.
