Responsibilities
Work with the Insurance Managing Director and Business Development Executive to drive pre-sales activities for AI/ ML opportunities in the Insurance domain in the US.
Drive scoping, consulting, delivery, and POC development - securing initial engagements with clients.
Ensure successful delivery of AI and digital transformation projects, managing end-to-end processes from conception to completion.
This includes orchestrating project teams, managing timelines and budgets, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.
Contribute to practice development by participating in development of new solutions, offerings, collaterals, solution accelerators and building thought leadership point of views.
Engage with other stakeholders within the organization (e.g., marketing, product development, etc.) to help execute on our growth strategy.
Engage early to build deep understanding of what Sand Technologies does and help define value proposition for the Insurance domain based on market demands and needs.
Own and oversee the end-to-end delivery of proof of concepts and client engagements, ensuring they meet our high standards of excellence and deliver substantial value to our clients.
Your responsibilities will include orchestrating project teams, managing resources, and leading initiatives that drive innovation and efficiency.
A critical aspect of the role will be to identify key opportunities for Sand Technologies to deliver value with solutions and products that enable client’s strategic, business and regulatory outcomes to be achieved.
Drive growth in the Insurance practice using consultative skills to secure engagements in target accounts.
Proactively network to establish relationships with key customers and prospects to generate new business opportunities.
Draw out bespoke needs, shaping solutions along with proofs that build on and demonstrate our industry leading expertise in AI and enable wider product development and deployment.
Work with Insurance MD to develop products and pricing strategies that support our scaling and growth plans.
Provide industry or market intelligence/ insight regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development ideas.
Support events and marketing activities in the Insurance practice to positively raise our brand in the sector with impactful pitches and presentations.
Support account delivery teams and leaders with people development and succession to ensure sustained account growth.
Manage relevant account information within our customer information repository / Customer Relationship Management system.

Required
Minimum 12 years experience, ideally working in Consulting / Professional Services, in the US Insurance market.
Demonstrable experience building trusted senior level relationships within client accounts that delivered valued business propositions and outcomes.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Maths, Sciences, Actuarial Science or related discipline; MBA or Masters Degree a plus (but not required).
Experience of working with new ventures or businesses scaling environments preferable.
Consultative selling skills in the Insurance sector with specific experience in P&C industry preferred; Product or service proposition business development experience.
Demonstrated ability to own and manage the end-to-end delivery of large programs, showcasing exceptional leadership and project management skills.
Proven capability to drive new sales and grow accounts, with a strategic approach to business development and a keen understanding of market dynamics.
Self-starter, curious, drive to make things happen, great communicator, ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and quickly define strategic challenges and solutions to address.
Preferred
Experience of working with new ventures or businesses scaling environments preferable.
It would be desirable for the candidate to have data, software and AI experience or interest to acquire sufficient experience to enable the understanding of the business, as well as the ability to adapt product and service offerings based on industry trends.
