Responsibilities
Work on a variety of technical projects for clients in chemical manufacturing, oil & gas, refining, and power industries in Louisiana, Texas, and neighboring states.
Provide air quality consulting services including air permitting and compliance.
Perform emission calculations, emissions inventory development, and emissions reporting.
Evaluate State and Federal air quality regulatory compliance.
Develop air permit applications for various client needs.
Handle environmental compliance reporting, documentation, permit certifications, and auditing.
Utilize air dispersion modeling and manage projects on schedule and within budget.
Build strong client relationships, communicate regulatory issues, and mentor junior staff.
Manage multiple project assignments, meet strict deadlines, and travel to client facilities as needed.

Required
MS or BS degree in a relevant science or engineering, or equivalent experience working in an environmental position directly related to air permitting and compliance
Strong verbal, writing, and spreadsheet skills
7+ years of experience working in the air quality field including: Emission calculations, emissions inventory development, and emissions reporting; Evaluating State and Federal air quality regulatory compliance; Developing air permit applications – initial, renewals, and amendments for a variety of client needs including, but not limited to, Title V, minor/major (PSD, NNSR), regulatory/standard, and small source (Permits by Rule; exemptions); Environmental compliance reporting, including documentation, permit certifications, and auditing
Effectively manage projects on schedule and within budget
Strong client relationships and interpersonal skills
Communicate complex regulatory issues and concepts to technical and non-technical clients and project teams
Mentor junior staff as needed
Ability to handle multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed
Satisfy all Drug & Alcohol, Health & Safety, and Security requirements to access clients’ facilities
Preferred
Hazardous and Miscellaneous Organic NESHAP (HON/MON) a plus
Air dispersion modeling utilizing approved EPA models (AERMOD) a plus
Professional license a plus
