Responsibilities

Work with traditional machine learning and deep learning techniques to meet and improve results on KLA products.

Experiment with new and novel techniques to improve results or reduce compute cost of various modeling techniques.

Build tools for more efficient experimentation.

Manage data used for training and experimentation of AI and physics modeling systems.

Image processing.

Speeding up physics models.

Developing software tools and solutions for KLA products.

Required

Students working towards a PhD Level Degree and anticipate graduating in 2026.

Background in Physics, Applied Mathematics and Electrical Engineering or Electromagnetics.

Familiarity in computer programming, especially in performance profiling, memory optimization, and parallel computing.

Proficient in C++ especially in writing production-quality, object-oriented code.

Experience in semiconductors (electrical properties, manufacturing, and metrology) is a plus.

Students working towards a PhD Level Degree with a strong background in Math, Physics, or Electrical Engineering (or related field).

Will anticipate graduating with a PhD degree in 2026.
