Responsibilities
Investigate potentially suspicious activity arising from various sources such as account surveillance, branch escalations, negative news matches, and regulatory investigations.
Conduct due diligence related to suspicious activities by reviewing client background information, securities transactions, and fund movements.
Make decisions on suspicious activities, prepare and file SARs and/or STRs as necessary.
Perform due diligence searches in third-party and internal databases.
Analyze negative news escalations and collaborate with business partners on relationship termination and risk mitigation processes.
Monitor regulatory developments and industry trends for integration into the firm's AML program.
Develop documentation on AML issues to enhance corporate policies.
Inform senior compliance management about potential rule violations or liability issues.
Stay updated on anti-money laundering laws and regulations.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university in a related field and 3-5 years AML investigatory and analysis experience
CAMS certification required or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment
