Responsibilities

Provide routine transaction processing services (e.g., purchases, redemptions, exchanges, transfers, systematic plans, etc.), maintenance services (e.g., change of address, beneficiary updates, etc.), and new account establishment following defined policies and procedures to mutual fund shareholders accounts.
Ensure proper documentation and authorization is received, reviewed and handled appropriately following completion of transaction.
Provide timely and thorough responses to mutual fund shareholders, distribution partners, and internal/external business partners through various communication means (written correspondence, email, phone, internet, and fax) regarding requests for information, inquiries, and/or issues following research and solution identification.
Raise complex and/or exception situations, requests, inquiries, and issues to appropriate senior team members.
Provide limited report monitoring services, research and resolve rejected transactions.
Maintain number and quality of transactions processed according to established guidelines, take ownership of work through processing and quality control of routine price and non-price dependent tasks.
Assist in the development and implementation of new work procedures and processes.
Provide suggestions based on research of other departments or competitors practices and personal experiences.
Represent the company in a professional manner that fosters a long-term relationship through education with shareholders and distribution partners to ensure retention and accumulation of assets.
Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required.

Required

Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
Good verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organization, planning, prioritization, multi-tasking, mathematical, and time management skills necessary.
Requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to execute tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced work environment.
Requires familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite applications and the ability to obtain knowledge of business unit software.

Preferred

Prefer prior related work experience, preferably in a financial services industry.
