Responsibilities
Reviews pharmaceutical manufacturer contracts and sets-up and maintains contract parameters in the rebate processing system
Oversees the delivery and processing of medical claim data to Prime Therapeutics
Perform Value-Based Contract invoicing
Maintains POS program data into claim adjudication system
Audits rebate payment and exclusion files for accuracy
Works with Finance in the allocation and processing of client rebate payments
Serves as IRC’s Subject Matter Expert in Medical, POS and Outcomes-based rebate programs
Assists department in client setup and implementation
Ability to backfill all Specialist I and Specialist II job duties as needed
Other duties as assigned

Required
Pharmacy Technician, Trade, or Industry Relations, and/or claims processing experience
Proficient in Word and Excel (intermediate level)
Must be comfortable communicating with manufacturers, vendors, and customers
Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
Preferred
Pharmacy experience (including drug names, classes, and terminology)
Claims processing experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office
