Responsibilities

Ensure ratings accuracy for the assigned portfolio through rigorous and timely credit analysis. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of relevant sectors and issuers. Articulate robust credit views and make recommendations to rating committees.
Build rapport with management teams and the broader marketplace, communicating critical credit views that enhance Moody’s Ratings’ relevance, expand our brand and reputation as a trusted source of credit insight.
Publish topical, thought-leading, forward-looking, and transparent research reports.
Collaborate at all levels internally; coach junior associates and develop their credit skills.
Cultivate relationships with the highest level of professional integrity, transparency, and fairness.

Required

Minimum of 5+ years of relevant credit and financial analysis experience. Strong analytical ability and technical skills in accounting, financial statement and cash flow-based analysis, capital structures and debt documentation.
Intellectual curiosity, honesty, thoroughness, sound judgment and ability to work independently and in a team. Able to engage in a free exchange of perspectives in an inclusive and open-minded manner.
Excellent communication skills. Able to communicate clearly and succinctly verbally and in writing.
Outstanding people skills. Ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels (including C-suite) and represent the Moody’s brand credibly and effectively.
Diligence, sense of ownership and ability to meet tight deadlines with high quality outcomes.
Adaptable, with a change mindset and willing to learn new technologies and tools.
