Responsibilities

Actively engages with a variety of internal and external audiences to ensure program success.

Ensures adherence to National Oilseed Processors Association (NOPA) rules and regulations for sampling and reporting of lab results.

Creates and disseminates claims analytics, ensures soybean meal buyers and nutritionists receive important and timely information.

Continuously assesses, evaluates, and adapts activities to provide a best-in-class soybean meal claims process.

Actively engages with third party labs, suppliers, nutritionists, buyers, and accounts receivables to ensure timely invoicing, collections, reporting, and allocation of claims.

Collaborates with Feed Ingredients Payables and physical brokers to reconcile monthly brokerage statements.

Performs ad hoc reporting and data maintenance activities as needed.

Serves as a collaborative partner with the soybean meal team to identify opportunities and make recommendations for program improvements and value-added initiatives.

Required

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

1-3 years’ experience in commodity purchasing, general accounting, or finance related field.

Strong Excel experience required.

Effective communication skills.

Problem-solving; initiative-taker; multi-tasker; organization; follow-through; dependable.

Preferred

Experience working with large datasets a plus.

Knowledge of Access, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint a plus.
