Responsibilities
Design and implement robust, scalable data pipelines to ensure the efficient flow and accessibility of data across teams.
Design, develop and optimize data models to support business analytics, reporting, and decision-making.
Partner with data scientists, analysts, product managers and engineers to ensure alignment between business goals and data initiatives.
Create and maintain documentation for the data infrastructure, models, and processes.
Work on improving data quality, accessibility, automation and observability within the data ecosystem.
Lead initiatives to integrate new data sources and optimize existing ones.
Mentor and guide junior team members on best practices for data engineering and analytics.

Required
5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, business analytics, actuarial science or a similar role.
Strong proficiency with SQL and experience in building and optimizing data models for business reporting.
Hands-on experience with ETL processes and data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Windmill, dbt).
Expertise with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python or R is a big plus.
Knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Omni, Tableau, Looker) and how they interact with underlying data models.
Strong analytical mindset with a passion for solving complex data problems.
Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
