Responsibilities

Maintain dbt project. Creating and updating models using best practices like testing and data diff.

Monitor dashboards to find outliers and inconsistencies

Build and update Looker dashboards

Work closely with other departments to investigate sources of errors. Then fixing the problem or creating a summary of the issue and working with our data engineer to fix it.

Format reporting in excel and merge data from multiple datasets with vlookup and other advanced excel functions.

Write ad hoc sql multiple table join queries to get data

We use MySQL and BigQuery but experience with any sql RDBMS works

Write clean and composable SQL code

Knowledge of CTE and window functions is required

Write python code to pull data from api rest apis.

Give suggestions on ways to increase revenue or decrease costs from data.

Writing documentation on how our data process works and errors we encounter.
