Responsibilities

Write a minimum of 5 News stories a week in CBR’s house style (following the requisite training)

This will include fact-checking, formatting, linking, and image sourcing/very basic editing (sizing, brightness, etc.)

Brainstorm, pitch, and develop original content ideas that’ll be published on-site

Accept and apply any/all feedback received by the editorial team

Communicate openly and actively with the editorial team

Required

Broad working knowledge of Anime and Manga, including: Dragon Ball, One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, Avatar/Korra, Studio Ghibli, Sailor Moon, Isekai, Pokémon, One Punch Man, Jujutsu Kaisen

Up to date with new anime and manga and anime news

The ability to analyze content and pull directly from the source material to back up claims

A sharp eye for grammatical details

Excellent command of the English language

Ability to write high-quality articles with swift turn-around times

Comfortable working in an entirely virtual environment

Should possess a general understanding of anime culture and strong research skills
