Responsibilities

Contact by telephone current apheresis and/or whole blood donors to recruit for donation following a process and appropriate script and handling escalated calls.
Schedule appointments to ensure maximum number of donors are scheduled each day.
Ensure daily production standards are maintained, including phone calls and appointments per hour, to meet established collection goals.
Maintain accurate records of donors/groups contacted and appointments scheduled to avoid errors, poor customer relations and to ensure sufficient donor availability.
Collaborate with fixed site leaders to develop new leads and implement new donor recruitment programs to ensure an increased donor base and an adequate blood supply.
Develop a working knowledge of donor criteria to inform donors of eligibility and reduce deferral rates.
May perform some team leader responsibilities, such as providing overall customer and staff support in absence of the supervisor, conducting employee training and/or assisting in assigning lists to telerecruiters.

Outbound CallsSales ExperienceComputer Experience

Required

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
Computer experience, excellent customer service and problem-solving skills required.
Ability to work on a team.
Effective verbal communication skills, the ability to work with potentially difficult customers, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment required.
Combination of candidate’s education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description’s minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).

Preferred

Experience meeting sales quota preferred.
Outbound calls experience preferred.
Sales experience, outbound calls experience and strong computer skills.
