Responsibilities

Monitor the performance of applications, batch jobs, and system observability, ensuring continuous service during shift coverage.
Manage and triage incidents, including root cause analysis (RCA), troubleshooting, and implementing permanent fixes.
Oversee ticket management, service request processing, and actionable alert configuration.
Perform break-fix and recovery tasks for configuration-related issues.
Support disaster recovery (DR) activities, including restoring systems and data when required.
Maintain run-books, SOPs, and document all processes for knowledge management.
Regularly update the Known Error Database (KEDB) with relevant incidents and resolutions.

Required

3–5 years of experience in APIGEE or DataPower Administration.
In-depth understanding of API management and security best practices, including OAuth, SSL/TLS.
Strong skills in incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and break-fix procedures.
Expertise in batch job scheduling, log analysis, and vulnerability remediation.
Knowledge of event and alert management systems and configuring actionable alerts.
Hands-on experience in certificate management, patching, and validation.
Experience with disaster recovery (DR) and backup restoration procedures.
Proficiency in using ITSM tools like ServiceNow, BMC Remedy for ticket management.
Experience with API deployment and performance tuning to optimize the application for better service.
Familiarity with tools like Jenkins, Terraform, or Ansible for application deployment automation.
Ability to track and manage Service-Level Agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics for critical applications.

Preferred

Multi-cloud platform knowledge (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Familiarity with Splunk, New Relic, or other monitoring platforms for performance and incident automation.
Experience with API versioning and managing APIs across multiple environments (dev, QA, production).
Certifications in APIGEE, IBM DataPower, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
