Responsibilities
Assemble, integrate, and configure servers, IT hardware, and peripherals based on project specifications.
Install operating systems, drivers, and firmware updates on server and IT systems.
Perform hardware and software compatibility checks to ensure seamless system functionality.
Conduct functional, performance, and stress testing on integrated hardware systems.
Identify and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network configurations.
Document and communicate test results, including failures, resolutions, and improvements.
Maintain accurate documentation for hardware builds, configurations, and testing procedures.
Ensure systems adhere to DoD standards, cybersecurity protocols, and other applicable regulations (e.g., NIST, RMF).
Support quality assurance processes and participate in audits as needed.
Work closely with engineering, software, and project management teams to define system requirements and address hardware-related challenges.
Provide input for improving assembly, testing, and troubleshooting processes.
Assist in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for hardware integration and testing.
Manage and track inventory of IT hardware components and tools.
Coordinate with procurement and vendors to ensure timely availability of components and replacement parts.

Required
