Responsibilities
Independently managing technology within the area of expertise on multiple projects.
Leading teams to establish technical strategies and tactical plans.
Evaluating application system needs and developing corresponding architectures and standards.
Providing consultancy support to clients and technical specialists.
Collaborating with hardware, network, and database architects to research and recommend new technologies.
Facilitating the purchase and introduction of new technologies.
Communicating and educating the technical and business communities on architectures, technologies, and industry trends.
Performing technical oversight of implementation projects to assure alignment with standards.
Working closely with product vendors to ensure strategic and architectural fit.

Required
Bachelor's Degree with 8 years experience, Master's Degree with 7 years experience, or PhD with 3 years experience.
Experience as an Application Architect
Experience working with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Chromatography Data Systems (CDS), or Scientific Data Management Systems (SDMS).
Familiarity with laboratory operations, workflows, and compliance requirements (e.g., GLP, GCP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11)
In addition to the above skills and tools, staying updated with the latest technology trends and continuous learning through professional development courses or certifications related to lab informatics are crucial for a pharmaceutical lab systems architect.
Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS): Proficiency with commercial LIMS software, such as LabWare, or Thermo Fishers SampleManager.
Deep understanding of laboratory systems such as LIMS, ELN, LES, and scientific data management systems
Preferred
Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of the regulatory environment in the pharmaceutical industry, including compliance standards and data integrity principles.
