Responsibilities

Drive technical strategic/important customer projects regionally.
Lead product trials and technical support.
Ensure that the application competence (key applications/business segments) in the organization continuously increases and meets the highest standards.
Prime contact regarding product and application expertise in the regional application of OEM genuine brand fluids, rebranded products and aftermarket automotive fluids.
Supports the associated business segment manager(s) in the profitable growth of the business segment through application know-how and technical expertise.
Demonstrate our culture of delivering comprehensive lubrication solutions for targeted commercial segments within the OEM/Automotive Aftermarket divisions.
Support set-up and monitoring of products, toll blenders, packaging, labelling and technical documents including but not limited to SDS’s, PI’s, selection guides, trainings and application surveys.
Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, competitive activity, customer regulatory awareness related to automotive lubricants product category.
Provide technical support to sales and local application engineers, including product recommendation and technical advice.
Conduct technical trainings for local sales, application engineers and significant training of customers.
Compile and contribute with application related know-how and success stories to the product information platform.
Collaborate with Product Manager for activities supporting product life cycle management, approvals and training.
Strong collaboration with sales, R&D and local affiliates / divisional and central departments.
Industry participation in tradeshows, seminars and webinars.

Required

Bachelor’s degree or above in a technical field: chemistry, chemical/mechanical/material are preferred
10 years of experience in key industry (e.g. chemical, lubricants, relevant global business segment)
Excellent in spoken and written English
Excellent project management skills
Good command of MS Office
Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to work in a global, regional and local team
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
High willingness to travel regionally at a minimum of 40-50%
