Responsibilities
Maintaining project schedules by monitoring progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
Applying knowledge of ASTM, TAS, IBC, ASCE, IECC, AISI, and other roofing and cladding testing methods and building codes.
Providing engineering solutions related to local and federal codes.
Completing roof and wall uplift designs using ASCE and other relevant codes.
Building test chambers and performing system testing.
Reading specifications and drawings to provide engineering recommendations for wall cladding and roofing systems.
Preparing project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information; recommending actions.
Reviewing customer orders for engineering soundness and recommending changes as needed.
Providing pricing for standard and non-standard products.
Reviewing internal shop drawings for accuracy and coordinating with customers for necessary information.
Ensuring a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
Maintaining product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
Performing other duties as assigned.

Required
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, or Mechanical) with EIT.
2-3 years of related experience.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide solutions for customers.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Technical understanding, documentation skills, safety management, and supervision capabilities.
Familiarity with CAD, ASCE 7, and IBC.
