Responsibilities

Provide SME services to the Sales and Commercial teams: attend sales calls, lead technical discussions, and provide advice to clients in, for example, construct design and protocols for testing dbDNA.

Lead internal technical discussions (e.g. with the Proposals team) to formulate a technical service offering and issue client proposals.

Responsible for leading and overseeing technical problem solving for clients as required (define scope, ensure effective co-ordination of work, rapid decision making and reliable communication with stakeholders) leading projects to conclusion.

Represent Touchlight (externally and internally) as the company’s spokesperson in the role’s defined specialism (e.g. mRNA). Attend and present at conferences and network within the key opinion leader community.

Work with Marketing to prepare materials, white-papers and other relevant marketing resources. Propose, design and present webinars.

Required

A practical understanding of upstream processes of modalities of DNA (AAV/mRNA/Gene Editing)

An understanding of the critical quality attributes of AAV/mRNA/Gene Editing, applying standard and advanced analytics (ideally gained in an industry setting, preferably a CDMO)

Knowledge and experience of materials used in small and large scale IVT reactions and purification

Excellent communication skills and the ability to facilitate collaboration with internal scientific teams, clients and third parties
