Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of application developers, designers, and task leaders conducting technical and industrial research.
Collaborate with government leads and stakeholders to define project requirements, goals, and timelines.
Ensure system compatibility with all integrated dissemination applications.
Implement best practices for software development, including Agile methodologies, code reviews, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
Monitor project progress, address technical challenges, adjust priorities, and provide updates to government and contract program managers.

Required
Must have an active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph.
BS in software engineering, computer science, information technology, or related field or equivalent experience with 10 plus years in software development, technology management, software engineering or a related field; or eight plus years of experience with master’s degree.
Experience with front-end technologies/frameworks (e.g, Angular, React), to include HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Object Notation.
Experience with backend development using Node.js, or equivalent technologies.
Experience with database design and development (e.g., SQL, NoSQL), and familiarity with search technologies (e.g., Elasticsearch, Solr).
Experience with content tracking, document state, and approval workflows at scale.
Experience overseeing application development and presenting overview briefings and updates to government leads, partners, and customers; reporting on progress at performance improvement meetings; and identifying opportunities for increase effectiveness, efficiency, scale, and impact.
Experience in the identification and mitigation of any issues or trends that pose a risk to project priorities.
Preferred
Experience managing a software development team through a government ATO process.
Experience developing unclassified software for configuration in a classified environment.
