Responsibilities

Translate business and functional requirements into concrete deliverables, including design, development, testing, and deployment of highly scalable optimization solutions and ML models.

Bring business and industry context to science and technology decisions, setting the standard for scientific excellence and making decisions affecting algorithm integration.

Work with scientists and economists to enable measurable actions on the consumer economy, diving deep into large-scale problems and building exemplary solutions in terms of algorithm design, clarity, model structure, efficiency, and extensibility.

Acquire expertise as needed to tackle intrinsically hard problems, decompose complex problems into straightforward solutions, and work on predictive and machine learning models in a supply chain context.

Required

PhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience

2+ years of building models for business application experience

Experience in building machine learning models for business application

Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language

Experience implementing algorithms using both toolkits and self-developed code

Experience in any of the following areas: algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, high-performance computing

Preferred

Experience using Unix/Linux

Experience in professional software development
