Responsibilities
Develop competencies of the production unit through training and development
Define and update standard operating procedures (SOP) for production employees
Assess and train setters, technicians, and operators
Support APU Shift leader in analyzing shop floor issues
Propose technical solutions to improve production processes and reduce cost
Analyze equipment's performance indicators and facilitate corrective actions
Implement rules for Continuous Improvement (5S, TPM, SMED, VSM)
Facilitate workgroups for continuous improvement and propose action plans
Accountable for APU equipment improvement and OEE documentation
Act as a contact person for standard audits
Participate in industrialization projects and new equipment development
Conduct Root Cause analysis to resolve issues affecting manufacturing processes
Follow safety procedures and use PPE as required
Other duties as assigned

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required
1 + years of experience, preferred experience in medical device manufacturing or similar industry
Strong math, reading, and communication skills required
Computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications required
Ability to lift 50 lbs, and stand/walk up to 90% of shift
Able to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, grab and climb as needed
Preferred
PLC knowledge (Studio 5000)
Vision System
SAP experience
Mechanical aptitude and experience with advanced problem solving
Ability to work in a fast-paced and multi-task environment with minimal supervision
