AQRM-SOQM Senior Associate

Responsibilities
Serves as the point of contact for RSM USI individuals and rotators assigned to system of quality management testing. Acts as a liaison with control owners and completes an initial review of any work performed by RSM USI.
Performs walkthroughs, design and implementation testing, operating effectiveness testing, identification of exceptions, potential findings and deficiencies as well as timely and accurate communication of results.
Assists the AQRM-SOQM Lead Manager with monitoring of the firm’s system of quality management and development of project timelines. Communicates project status and achievement of key milestones.
Perform remediation testing.
Assist with the development of innovation testing techniques and proactive monitoring development.
Assist with report development and presentation materials for AQRM Leadership, the Quality Management Risk Committee (including the National Assurance Leader and Chief Risk Officer), and the Chief Executive Officer.
Other duties as assigned.

Required
Bachelor’s degree
Strong oral and written communications skills
Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely, verbally and orally to diverse audiences across the firm
Ability to develop and maintain applicable professional and internal contacts, resources and networks
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with respect to internal information
Exhibit high attention to detail and strong proofreading skills
3+ years’ relevant experience
Controls testing experience
Able to adapt quickly to changes in the firm and regulatory environment
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Proactive in requesting feedback
Ability to supervise, direct, and review RSM USI and team members, as needed
Preferred
Master’s degree
Working knowledge of the system of quality management standards
Ability to respond positively to changing circumstances, seek and implement change to drive business improvement
