Responsibilities

Creating end-to-end architectural designs, focusing on meeting defined objectives around availability, reliability, performance, security, and scalability.

Collaborating with development teams to implement designs.

Socializing and building consensus around architectural decisions to provide stable and secure platforms.

Designing solutions for software and configuration deployments, database, control plane, and platform security.

Required

8 years development/architecture experience

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or its equivalent

Proven experience designing and/or implementing platform/support systems

Good understanding of architectural principles, such as scaling, reliability, performance, security, and their implementations

Experience with cloud compute technologies, including hypervisors, containers, auto-scaling, and virtual network

Programming capabilities (e.g., Perl, Python, JS) to help prototype new product ideas and concepts
