Responsibilities
Develop and implement AI-driven tools for personalized learning, adaptive assessments, and intelligent tutoring to enhance VAAA's educational solutions.
Design and execute AI automation solutions to streamline administrative processes such as scheduling, resource allocation, and document management.
Generate actionable insights through AI-enhanced data analytics, creating dashboards and reports for stakeholders and senior leadership.
Conduct thorough testing of AI systems to ensure compatibility with VA's existing infrastructure and compliance with VA OIT standards and policies.
Provide ongoing AI training and develop training programs for VAAA staff, educators, and students on utilizing AI tools effectively.
Maintain security safeguards for AI systems, ensuring compliance with VA data privacy and security regulations.
Participate in technology consulting efforts, offering best practices and solutions for AI integration and other modernization efforts.
Collaborate with stakeholders and attend meetings to provide expert recommendations on AI and technology initiatives.
Create technical documentation, including project compliance testing reports, user guides, and training artifacts.
Continuously monitor and update AI systems to ensure optimal performance and alignment with organizational goals.

Required
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Information Technology or a related field.
At least 10 years of hands-on experience in AI or related technology projects.
Proven expertise in advanced SharePoint administration, implementation, and management.
Demonstrated experience in implementing Artificial Intelligence (AI) projects and solutions.
Advanced proficiency in tools such as SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and other Microsoft Power Platform tools.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
Preferred
Master’s degree in Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
Experience with generative AI technologies, such as creating AI-driven media, presentations, or reports.
Knowledge of VA-specific systems, including Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD), CONCUR, or similar applications.
Certification in AI, machine learning, or data analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate).
