Responsibilities
Disassemble, inspect, measure, repair, assemble, test, and troubleshoot landing gear assemblies and sub-assemblies.
Track and maintain accountability for all issued equipment and materials required for the job.
Perform all work according to governmental, manufacturer, and company procedures.
Develop continuous improvement ideas for companywide processes and participate in implementing them.
Work closely with others in a team environment to ensure quality and customer-driven delivery expectations.
Practice good housekeeping and ensure safety policies are followed at all times.
Perform any other duties as required.

Required
High School Diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of two years experience on repair and overhaul of landing gears.
Ability to use measuring equipment to include calipers, micrometers, gauges, and digital multi-meters.
Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
Working knowledge of FAA repair, overhaul, and testing procedures.
Able to lift, support and move 40 pounds.
Preferred
Familiarity of Lean/Sigma processes in a manufacturing environment.
A & P or Airman's Certificate.
