Responsibilities
Builds and manages a network of journalists in East Asia for news platforms within an internet-based program.
Identifies relevant news stories, assigns tasks to regional journalists, and creates content with editorial team.
Tasks may include verifying translations, making recommendations to customer regarding disposition of reader comments, researching news content to ensure conformance to program guidelines regarding sourcing, libel, and plagiarism, monitoring the regional press, finding instances of content propagation, and providing analysis on the reprinting source, and executing technical tasks utilizing locally developed tools associated with internet-based publications.

Required
Bachelor's Degree is required in English, Journalism, or a related discipline.
3+ years of related experience.
US Citizenship Required: Yes.
Native-level fluency in a regional language -- Chinese, Filipino/Tagalog, Vietnamese -- is required, including the nuances of grammar and journalism editing standards.
Professional proficiency in English is required.
Preferred
3+ years’ experience in writing, editing and/or journalism is highly preferred.
Preference given to Chinese language proficiency.
