Responsibilities
For assigned sports programs, develop and execute comprehensive marketing, promotions, ticket sales, game experience, community engagement, social media, merchandise, and email campaign strategy.
Serve as lead for strategic marketing programs, initiatives, and marquee department events as assigned by the Senior Associate AD, Marketing & Communications.
Oversee Blue Crew, DePaul Athletics' official student group, and collaborate with student organizations to increase engagement at sporting events.
Act as a liaison between sports programs and the community relations unit to enhance the team's involvement in the community.
Recruit, train, and manage student workers within the marketing department, oversee internships, and coordinate game day staffing.
Manage donation requests, group ticket orders, and ensure compliance with NCAA regulations.
Lead marketing plans for assigned sports within the department's budget.
Attend and participate in monthly NCAA rules compliance education meetings.
Lead and supervise student workers within the Athletics Marketing department.
Occasional travel required.
Qualification

Required
Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred.
3-5 years of proven success in marketing, revenue generation, live event production, or other similarly related field, preferably at the NCAA Division I level.
Possess a working knowledge of NCAA and University rules and regulations as they apply to intercollegiate athletics.
Valid driver's license preferred.
Must be able to lift marketing materials weighing up to 30 pounds.
Position requires sitting and/or standing for extended periods of time (up to 5 hours), including outdoors in the elements.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Basic working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
Dedication to serving the department, the University and the student-athletes with the highest level of leadership, initiative and integrity.
Demonstrated experience in working in a diverse urban and/or intercollegiate athletics environment.
Position requires working evening, weekend, and holiday hours during school year, including several community events in a variety of climate conditions.
Must attend all home events for assigned Olympic Sports events.
Occasional travel is required.
Preferred
Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies, and methodologies in marketing and community outreach as they apply to intercollegiate athletics preferred.
Valid driver's license preferred.
