Responsibilities

Shop stores and online for new trends. Search and preparation of color/trend reports for designers and sales/buyers.

Shopping trade/fabric shows, collecting and developing new fabrics and trims.

Original sketching in Illustrator/preparing tech packs and BOM’s.

Taking photos of garments.

Order samples for accounts and/or advertising.

Work with licensors in presenting the development and product for approvals.

Attend fit sessions with models; provide comments and corrections. Adjust tech packs as needed. Make correction comments on proto samples, when first received.

Create original artwork, graphics and trim development.

Approval of fabric looms / lab dips, trims.

Responsible for handling specs for garments.

Organize and maintain fabric library

Maintain and update seasonal brand line sheets
