Responsibilities

Assist the Project Director with procurement of EPC contracts including bidding, scoping, and execution on utility solar plants.

Manage project documentation including submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, construction documents, and permits.

Supervise consultants, coordinate project activities, ensure compliance with company/project policies, and resolve problem areas.

Maintain change orders, submittal, and document control logs, prepare required logs for construction meetings.

Track and report on contract milestone submittals, create request for proposals, analyze bids, and issue Subcontractors' contracts.

Work with third-party EPC management team, represent company/project in meetings, assume project supervision responsibilities in Project Director's absence.

Prepare project reports, travel to project sites, engage with stakeholders, participate in project team calls, and collaborate with internal colleagues.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required

3-5 years of experience in the renewable energy industry, specifically in North America

Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Minimum 3-5 years of relevant renewable energy development and/or construction experience

Minimum of 1 year construction site experience on large projects

Familiarity with EPC procurement and/or EPC management

Solar development and/or energy storage development experience

Ability to communicate and sync cross-functionally regularly

Skills and knowledge with a combination of renewable energy technologies

Track record supporting successful construction of renewable energy projects through COD and project closeout

Commercial mindset, strong prioritization, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to quickly step into new tasks and adapt to unique circumstances in a dynamic environment

Willingness to work extended hours when necessary

Preferred

Previous experience working in a commercial environment with excellent counterparty focused, customer management, negotiation, and influencing skills

Successfully operating in a geographically dispersed organization is a plus

Ability to enjoy life, find time for oneself, and re-charge when time allows
