Responsibilities
Select technologies and tools for training programs.
Create supportive learning activities and develop new training content.
Produce multimedia content according to a set schedule.
Analyze training needs and make recommendations.
Support testing of courses to ensure functionality and compliance.
Serve on Center of Excellence (COE) team for systemwide impact projects.

Required
Advanced degree in education, instructional design or technology, public administration, safety, health, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of combined experience developing videos, online training, and/or blended learning.
Minimum of 2 years of experience with eLearning authoring tools (such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate/Presenter, etc.), and video production software (such as Adobe Premiere, Camtasia, etc.).
Strong analytical, verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and strong presentation skills.
Thorough knowledge of current training programs and trends.
Thorough knowledge of applying adult learning theories and education methodologies.
Thorough knowledge and skills with relevant software systems and content creation tools.
Preferred
Thorough knowledge of functional area and understands how work may impact other areas.
Thorough analytical skills to conduct analysis and develop recommendations, demonstrating organization and problem-solving skills.
Thorough knowledge of organizational policies and procedures.
Thorough knowledge of delivering training programs and thorough knowledge of other areas of human resources.
Strong skills to conduct needs assessment and development of new training courses to meet organizational needs.
Thorough knowledge and skills with relevant business software systems; i.e., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
Strong skills in planning, resourcing and monitoring effective delivery of training.
Thorough knowledge of training and development, performance management and workplace learning. Ability to apply knowledge to achieve successful organizational outcomes.
Thorough knowledge of the technical tools and platforms required to achieve the delivery of engaging and media-rich online learning content, and of trends in the use and effectiveness of educational technology and learning.
University of California experience or familiarity with higher education institutions or non-profit organizations.
