Responsibilities
Proactively stay up-to-date with market trends & support Design Manager in preparing for Season Concept Presentations, contributing to silhouette, outfitting, color and print research.
Drive product innovation, working with the PD team on trim and fabric sourcing/development.
Sketch all technical CADs for our Play line and partner closely with the Technical Design team on garment details and fit to ensure sampling meets design intent.
Design emotive mix and match Play collections that surprise and delight our customers. Focusing on ultra soft, durable fabrics and product function to create products that make parents' lives easier as well as outlast the playground.
Maintain accurate product linesheets across all required platforms (Miro, Adobe Illustrator, PDM) to meet cross-functional needs.
Work with Product Integrity team on reviewing all designs, confirming product specifications uphold our LS standards in quality and safety.
Responsible for the creation and accuracy of BOMs for all Play products in our PDM system.
Work closely with the PD and Textile Teams on feedback and approvals in product development, communicating daily on samples, strike-offs, lab dips, and art croppings.
Create and revise millsheets files as needed for production.
Attend weekly fit sessions and maintain our quarterly Fit Tracker.
Support various GTM workflows, including product education for Ecomm /Customer facing teams and collection outfitting/styling for Photography.
Collaborate with cross functional teams from Merchandising, Technical Design, PD, and Production to ensure Play products meet business objectives and production calendar deadlines.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion/Apparel Design or similar discipline.
4+ years of experience in Apparel Design, within Children’s Apparel preferred.
Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills.
Ability to excel in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong technical skills with an impeccable eye for trends aligned to the brand.
Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop), Google Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Superior knowledge of fabrication, silhouettes, colorways, construction techniques, and trim.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Detail-oriented and solutions-focused.
A “no task is too small” attitude willing to jump in as needed to support the team with day-to-day creative.
Able to come into our HQ in Los Angeles, CA on a weekly hybrid schedule 3 days a week.
