Responsibilities

Category Management - Conduct key business analyses, consumer research, and market trends to identify opportunities for core assortment and new product launches.
Lead brand initiatives across the marketing mix, collaborating with various functions to achieve project objectives.
Develop and manage new product roadmap, including features, pricing, and channel strategy.
Manage product lifecycle, pricing strategies, and cross-functional project teams for new product development.
Coordinate annual pricing reviews, MAP policy implementation, and demand planning processes.
Drive results through initiative and action, supporting sales operations and supply chain activities.
Liaise with sales for product line reviews and coordinate with various departments for effective execution.
Utilize consumer research to develop execution plans for new products and packages.
Leverage analytical skills and market data to drive business growth and excellence.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field required.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in CPG in brand management, channel marketing, marketing, or sales roles (a combination is ideal)
High level of familiarity with channel management, National Account selling and category management
Passion and curiosity to continuously seek out opportunities and ideas to strengthen and grow your business with a bias for action to quickly adapt and execute on the needs of the business while being comfortable challenging the status quo.
Ability to be a cross functional leader that can effectively communicate and collaborate with cross functional partners within sales, supply chain, research and development, communications, finance and market research.
Have the ability to leverage first party and third party consumer research to articulate the voice of the customer to develop an execution plan for new products and packages
Advanced analytical skills with strong proficiency in market data, competitive data, POS, Sales, Gross Margins, Operating Margins, Inventory Turns, etc.
Customer-focused, can-do mindset with a passion for problem-solving and commitment to excellence and continuous improvement
Ability to travel as needed (20-30%)

Preferred

MBA preferred
Related industry experience (outdoor industry, big ticket durable items, or enthusiast products) preferred
Passion for the grilling / BBQ space is a plus.
