Responsibilities
Evaluates, selects and applies standard techniques, procedures and criteria to perform basic tasks.
Receives some direction for basic tasks.
Receives substantial direction and guidance for more complex tasks.
Performs research.
Prepares design calculations and detail sketches following examples provided by more senior engineers.
Prepares portions of project documents.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Other disciplines may be considered)
Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam
Minimum 2 years of experience in civil/structural engineering, preferably in the utility industry
Ability to access all areas of the plant and conduct physical evaluations of grounds and equipment including ability to climb and work at high elevations and in confined spaces, walk a significant distance, sometimes on uneven ground, and perform occasional minor lifting
Preferred
Master’s degree
Knowledge of one or more of the major practice areas within the Civil/Structural Engineering Department gained through college coursework and work experience
