Responsibilities

Responsible for analysis, design, development, and support of enterprise data management systems.

Manage and support global agile scrum teams that operate enterprise data platforms.

Influence the strategy and align the roadmap of enterprise data applications and drive the execution of initiatives.

Partner with other engineering teams and Product owners to achieve business and technology goals.

Provide inputs to technical leadership for data architecture, design, and implementation of new features and iterations of core products.

Develop and document data standards, provide technical oversight on implementation of new features and iterations of core products adhering to industry best practices.

Required

BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with 8+ years of Information Technology experience

5+ years Hands-on experience contributing to data/application architecture & designs, proven software/enterprise integration design patterns and full-stack knowledge including modern distributed front end and back-end technology stacks

Deep Experience with three or more technologies of Java/J2EE, C#, AWS, Spark, Python, Scala, Informatica, PL/SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Informatica, MongoDB, Angular/ReactJS, Databricks, Kubernetes

Experience with Continuous integration, dev-ops, and deployment with tools like Azure DevOps ADO

Preferred

2+ years of hands-on experience in developing scalable data pipeline using technologies like Kafka, Databricks, Spark and Scala applying ETL and ELT concepts

Experience in microservices and API design and implementation, familiar with service-oriented architectures, SOAP and RESTful APIs

Experience with Data Management, Data Security, Data Quality, Data Governance

Expert knowledge of Agile approaches to software development and able to put key Agile principles into practice to deliver solutions incrementally

Excellent analytical thinking, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with strong ability to influence both technology and business partners

Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment, understanding of project management principles

Financial services industry experience is a plus

Ability to motivate and mentor other engineering teams and individuals
