Responsibilities
Understand ESCC’s Mission and Core Values and incorporate them into daily practice.
Make decisions as a team to fulfill the mission, share recognition, and learn from failures.
Assign service and preventative work orders, monitor staff productivity.
Diagnose and facilitate repair of various systems including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, architectural, etc.
Facilitate preventative maintenance tasks on equipment and systems.
Participate in interviewing and hiring process, supervise staff, and train employees.
Promote continuous improvement in operations, disaster avoidance, and reliability of HVAC systems.
Manage special projects, complete property inspections, and maintain records.
Oversee staff paperwork completion, advise on maintenance standards, and manage contract staff.
Respond to emergencies, participate in fire response team, provide feedback on performance evaluations.
Be reachable after hours, respond to emergencies, and assist with managing the White Plains Campus.
Other related duties as necessary or directed by Supervisor.

Required
High school diploma/trade school diploma or equivalent
Valid NYS driver’s license
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language fluently
Must meet or exceed all health standards and requirements for the position as established by NYDOH and all other regulatory agencies
Must meet the general health requirements set fourth by the policies of this Center which includes a medical and physical examination
Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds
Perform tasks that may involve exposure to the resident’s blood/body fluids
Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents, if necessary
5 years related experience minimum, preferably in a healthcare environment
